Granada

The view of the Alhambra and Albayzin from our balcony

Wandering down the narrow lanes

Sun setting on the Alhambra
Today we took a 4 hour drive to Granada. Once we got there we checked in to our guest house from the 16th century!!! It has a really good view of the Alhambra and the old quarters of the town, called the Albayzin. The Alhambra is a fortress and palace from the 14th century. After a little rest, we walked around the village and I got a chocolate milkshake! We didn't really do much in the village other than just explore it and looked at its features. Tobin and I were so tired that our parents dropped us off at the hotel and went off exploring by themselves. Once they came back home we were really hungry so we went out to find something to eat. After a long time we didn't find anything that looked good and it was dark! We finally found a little restaurant that looked like there was no customers but we decided to try it and to our surprise there was this whole other area that's hidden that was packed with people. The food there was even so delicious, especially the salmon (that's the first place that even had it as a food option)!!! Afterwards we had a long walk home so once we got there we went to bed.
