We finally arrived in Milan! As soon as I stepped out of the airport I was taken back by the heat….it is insane!! No matter what time of the day it’s scorching hot out and so muggy everywhere. Once we got in around 4:00 pm we had to take a long taxi drive to our apartment. Our taxi driver was ride or die material. His car was a speeding bullet. I think he should start a movie called “Fast and Furious 8-Milan Style”. I highly approved of his driving. Our apartment is so comfy and cozy, it defiantly screams “Milan”. Before our late dinner Tobin and I explored a little bit and found somewhere to eat. We got just a little lost and took all the keys with us so basically our parents were lost and confused in our apartment but that’s ok! When we got re-united with them we took them to the tasty restaurant we found. We sat outside and I got eaten alive by mosquitos but the yummy gnocchi with pesto I had to eat made up for it. For dessert we walked around a little until I got a Nutella macaroon-yum yum yum:}}}}}. Tobin was so very tired so we went home and went to bed although I couldn’t really sleep thanks to jet lag, heat and noisy workers! Overall it was a beast first night.
