This morning I woke up to a delightful market outside my window!! I rushed out to see what the commotion was and was excited with what I saw!!! Bracelets, necklaces, soaps, candles!!! I got two handmade bracelets. For breakfast, Tobin and I went out and got freshly squeezed orange juice and a croissant!!! After an exciting morning we went on an exciting boat ride!! Tobin and I met a little girl on the boat who kept wanting to hold our hand:))))))))!!! Oooooohhh the boat took us to this amazing garden!! We had to go on a huge uphill hike but it was definitely worth it! The garden was like out of a movie...wait, it was out of a movie!! Star Wars!!!!!! Baabaabababaaa (that's the theme song) I am your father, Luke Skywalker. Phew phew. Mesa Jar Jar Binks!! The garden was stunning!! It was out of this world!! Pillars covered in flowers surrounded me and every pathway I took led to a new surprise!
After the garden, we boated around to so many charming little towns!! Lunch was on the lake and we had a view of all these mountains. Overtop of our heads was a pergola covered in a ceiling of grape vines! Tobin and I got amazing homemade strachiatella gelato after lunch and went into this really cool shop that had rat glass figures!! It was perfect for me because I love rats but when we looked at the price we almost fainted!! It was 500$ for a glass rat the size of my fingernail! There goes my dream of having a collection of glass rats:((((!! The boat ride we took home was almost 2 hours but it was ok because we got to sit outside ad look at all the little towns and grand villas as we passed them. Once we got home we had a spectacular idea....let's go to SWITZERLAND!! Switzerland is only a half an hour train ride from where we were staying and an African band was playing there that dad really liked so why not go?!! Unfortunately, there was no train times available for that day so that didn't happen:(!
At home we had leftover pizza for dinner. Everyone wanted to just watch dumb Gladiator again but I had a feeling we were missing out on something outside!! So I took dad out with me and we walked along the streets! Then I heard sweeeet singing coming from a street further away!! Dad and I bolted over to see what it was!! It was karaoke!! My all-time favourite!! A funny singing little person lured us in. This was way better than going to Switzerland!!! First off, dad sung Love Me Tender by Elvis Presley!! It killed me! Then it was time for the star of the show...AKA mimirockzzz (me)!! I charmed the audience by singing "Toxic" by Britney Spears!! "I'm addicted to you, don't you know that you're toxicccccc....."! The crowd went INSANE!! Just kidding, they were so quiet I could hear the sound of my own pulse!! It was my big moment!! I think I'm gonna get famous after this one....! Tobin and mum left behind their precious Gladiator movie to come join karaoke with us! I had wanted to sing a duet with Tobin to "Hit Me Baby One More Time" but by the time we waited for everyone to sing, it was closed and there wasn't enough time for us to impress the audience with our top quality singing!! It was ok though because while other people sang I got up and danced with this crazy old lady!! She kept speaking to me in Italian and making me do these weird dance moves!! I tried to teach her how to "whip" but unfortunately I don't think she understood!! After our mind-blowing night at karaoke we got a mango popsicle and went home to go to bed!!
