The amazing Duomo
This is the beaut dress!
Lobster restaurant
With Dad on the Navigli
This morning I (accidently) woke up nice and early….5:30
am!! What a delightful time to be awake! When I woke up I looked at the time on
my phone and it said 8:30 so I thought it was a great time to wake up, until I realized
around 6:30 am that I was reading Kelowna time!! I was oh so very angry because
I couldn’t fall back asleep, so I partied by myself until the rest of my herd
woke up J!!!
When this happened they took seven years to get ready and I was starving but we
had no food except cold pizza (which I ended up eating). Eventually we left the
house around 10:30 am (keep in mind I had been up since 5:30) and went to a café.
I didn’t end up getting anything to eat. I don’t know why. I think it was
because I was wayyyyyyy too jetlag!! But I’m not complaining, I’m just giving
facts. After the café we walked to this totally rad shopping luxurious outdoor mall
called “Galleria Vittorio Emanuele”. The stores it contained was all stuff like
“Dolce and Gabana and Versace”. Needless to say, I didn’t get anything but the
outdoor building itself was so lovely. Then we headed over to the Duomo church.
We had some trouble finding tickets (it took quite a long time) and when we finally
did, I couldn’t go in!!! The reasoning behind this was because since it was a church
and I was only wearing shorts and a tank top, I forgot they wouldn’t let me
in!! Something needed to be done! I looked on the bright side-I had to go buy
new clothes that were appropriate for the church! But that’s sort of a hard
thing to do when you’re rushing to buy something in Italy!! So I made the best
out of the situation and got this super crazy, beaut-tastic, bruise dog dress! It
was covered in cats? Or monkeys? Or jaguars? Or rats? I reallyyyyyy hope
rats!!!!!! Around this time I was feeling pretty rough and dusty because I had
only had that cold pizza to eat at 6:30 am and now it was 1:00 pm!!!! We needed
to go in the church but I was starving!! So I pounded the streets of Italy to
find something to eat! I felt very sick, very jet lag, very tired and I was
wearing the most beauty dress in the world. I ended up just getting juice. Slowly but surely we made it to the church!
It was so stunning and blew my mind. There were so many different artistic towers
and sculptures. The view from the very top (which we got to by walking up 500
steps of stairs) was spectacular and remarkable! I could see all of Italy and
the church itself I was in was so amazingly fine-looking. We headed down the
church and walked over to this lobster restaurant around 3:00 pm to get some
late lunch! It was very, very tasty. The heat outside was unbearable and we
were very jetlag so we came home to take a rest. But I had dedicated fans
calling my name, therefore I had to make a video of me playing the recorder in
Milan so I went out onto the streets (still wearing the crazy dress from
earlier) and serenaded them with my recorder playing of the wii mii theme song.
Btw hit me up on Instagram @mimiplaystherecorder for a little taste of pure liquid
gold. You can view this video of me playing the recorder and many, many more!!
After I saved the world with my recorder playing we went out to get dinner!
Dinner was right on this long channel of water with bridges crossing it. The
sun was just setting so the view was 10 out of 10! The food was very tasty and
the setting was even better! Afterwards we came home where mum and I watched Bachelorette
tv show because we can’t miss any of that! Troolo0olol0ol0llo0lol this blog is
too long. Congrats if you made it this far and creep it real folks-mimirockzzz
king Julian party people of the world.
I love your blog!!! Hope you are having a great, amazing, wonderful, fantastic time in Italy!!!
