Laundry duty

Star and her family stopped in to take the anteater to the vet in San Jose.  We helped her get the cage ready!

This morning we were off sloth duty and were on boring garden duty. For garden duty you have to do raking, gardening, more raking, laundry and even more raking. In the morning I raked for two hours straight. Then I helped mom and a new volunteer named Siv (who's about 60 and comes from Switzerland) with laundry for about an hour. Afterwards I did another hour of raking. It was a bit fun though when I had to find a certain kind of plant, dig out the little seedlings, and then replant it in another pot to grow again. Finally I got a lunch break. At our lunch break Tobin and I taught Siv how to dance! It was so funny watching her do all the dance moves we made up! After our little break I did more raking until it was time to go home. At the house we had dinner and then our Swiss neighbors, Alain and Irene came over but they're both adults so they just hung out with our parents while Tobin and I played with Heiner. When Heiner left we went to bed.
