Ouch!  It really hurts when they pull your hair!

Today I finally got to go in the monkey cage! I was so happy! Before going in to the monkey cage I had clean the birds' cage and do some more raking. When I finally got into the monkey cage though I didn't do any work - I just let all the monkeys climb on me! One of the cute baby monkeys, Iris, fell asleep on me. It was too cute! Also what I had to do was watch and guard the monkeys and make sure none of the tourists tried to hurt them or wake them up when they came to see the monkeys in the cage. Most of the time I had at least one monkey wrapped around my neck! Then I got to stop for a lunch break. At lunch since it was Halloween we said trick or treat to everyone and explained to them what it meant. Siv, the nice old Swiss lady gave us each 3 caramel sticks from Switzerland, Anjelica, the lady in the kitchen, gave us a mini Hersey chocolate bar and Nadja gave us three packs of mini Oreos each. When we were eating lunch also a new raccoon came in. It had been hit by a motorcycle! The raccoon was on one side of the road and the human on the other! Apparently the human is not in good shape either. After lunch I had to clean the whole monkey cage while the monkeys were in the forest with Dad. It wasn't as fun as actually working with them though! When our work was finished we stopped at the grocery store and I got a white chocolate bar for Halloween! Yummy! We got home and played with Heiner until dinner. Afterwards Irene and Alain came over and played Mexico with us. Of course since I never win Alain won all the money! It was still fun though! Then we went to bed. Happy Halloween!
