Punta Uva

Cafe Azura

Jungle path to Punta Uva

Cloudy, but still hot!

Tobin's tipi
This morning we walked to a little cafe for breakfast, where I got French toast. On the way back we stopped to rent some snorkel gear because we're going snorkeling again today. Then we went to the beach behind our house and walked along it until we got to Punta Uva beach. At the other beach we stopped to snorkel but the water was so foggy and muddy and you couldn't see anything so we just stopped for a little swim. To get to the other beach we had to walk up this steep rock path and then walk through all the jungle. When we finally arrived there was not much snorkeling so I just swam in the water while Tobin made a wood tipi. We didn't stay at that beach for a very long time though (only about an hour and a half) because we had to walk back through the jungle again then walk all along both beaches, which took awhile! All along the jungle path there were ants that formed a big line and carried leaves on their heads. They are called leafcutter ants! When we finally got back to the tree house we had to pack all the stuff up to leave and go back to our real house. It was dinner time when we arrived at our house so mom just made some soup. After dinner we played with Heiner then went to bed.
