Relaxing in Ischia

Game on!
Overlooking the town
What is up with the Italians always trying to give me wine?!?!

Looks tasty....
This morning we got and up and went to the buffet but there were no Nutella crepes left :((((!! I was very disappointed. I guess I'll have to get up earlier tomorrow! Although the very nice worker brought out a whole new plate of fruit for me because there wasn't any left!!! They're sooooo nice here!!!

After breakfast we went straight to the pool. At the pool I just chilled out and swam and read my book!!! Tobin and dad and I kept having races in the pool and Tobin would set up his iPad to film it for proof of who won. Every time dad came in first, but it was a race between Tobin and I to see who came second because the loser had to push dad around on the floaty. So this one time I said I was second and Tobin said he was second and it turned into the huge argument!! Clearly we went to go check the video to see who came second and it was soooooo weird because the angle it was filmed at looked so weird, you couldn't tell who came first and who came second. I swear it turned into that whole thing with the dress whether it was blue, or silver or something like that (you know what I'm talking about??). We even had to get this British family involved and other people on the pool deck to get their opinion on who won!!! It's still undecided!!

Mum and I left the pool for a bit to go look around the town for souvenirs and I was pretty hungry so I got a peach from this peach stand. It was the biggest peach ever and sooooo juicy!!! We went back to the pool after and I read some more and watched an episode of PLL. At around 3:00 pm dad and I headed out to get some lunch and we got these really good sandwiches from next door. Also I got this huge marshmallow meringue that melted in my mouth and was mouth-watering and dad even got tiramisu!!! Basically all we did in the day today was hang out and have at fun the pool!!

Mum, dad and I took the bus (Tobin wanted to stay home) around 6:00 pm to go back to the gorgeous town with the stunning castle and bridge. We got there very early so we could walk all in the town again and look at the shops. There was this chocolate store we stopped at and I got 4 little different chocolates and they were the best chocolates I've had in my whole entire life!!! I want some more so bad right now!!! When we walked out of the chocolate store there were these weird man standing outside and they came up to us and started speaking in Italian and showing us these badges (to prove they were authorized). Dad said we didn't speak Italian and tried to walk away but they stopped us and started to speak English. They said they needed to see dad's receipt from the chocolate store and took it from him, and ran into the store with his receipt. Immediately we became worried because they were very sketchy and we thought they were gonna hack dad's credit card or something - who knows what the Italians could do?!! It turns out they took dad's receipt to check that the store didn't scam us!! I don't know but it was very confusing and weird!!!!!!

For dinner we walked through the town until we got to this seafood restaurant near the water. Once I sat down they handed me a glass of prosecco!!!! Hahahahjajaja the Italians here are always giving me beer and wine because the drinking age in Italy is so young. And no, I didn't drink the wine (well maybe a little bit;)). It tasted gross so mum finished it. I ordered fish and once it came it was this huge whole fish with the head and everything not even cut off. That's the way they serve it here. Dad ended eating my whole fish and I ate his cut up fish! The fish was AMAZING and tender. After dinner we walked all along the boardwalk to the entrance of the castle. The water was shimmering in the moonlight and the town was hopping with people!!

We stopped at this book store on the way back through the town and got some artwork. To get home we didn't take the bus, we took a tuk-tuk!!!! You know those little cars with no doors and they're decorated all fancy!! I felt like I was in The Amazing Race and our driver was driving so fast and crazy (my type of driving!) and it was so pretty to drive along the seaside at night. As soon as we got home from the insane tuk-tuk ride, we went to bed (I was definitely tired from that wine earlier, JK).

Goodnight party people of the world, creep it real-mimirockzzz king Julian
