| My polka-dot fish |
Today we went to paint a mural with Carlos Hiller! He's painting the wall of the public school in Playa Panama and we got to help him! We started off by painting the water and rocks and the outlines of fish. Every kid got to paint and design the inside of a fish! My design was stripes and polka dots. Also they did this big talk about saving the environment and showed us a video of all these cool kinds of underwater creatures that they videotaped while diving! It was really amazing to be part of this cool project, and Carlos Hiller was really nice. After painting we quickly stopped at the beach to cool down. When I was swimming at the beach a silver thread stung me! A silver thread is this type of sea creature that's a string and it wraps around your arm and stings you! They usually don't hurt but it stung me a million times so it kinda did. When we left the beach we came home and celebrated Dad's birthday because it's his birthday tomorrow and Mom is taking him away for the night! At dinner we had fish tacos and chocolate cake. For Dad's birthday I got him some chocolate, I made him a card and I made him a bracelet! The rest of the night we stayed at our house and played with Dad.
