Petroglyphs at the art museum

Outside the museum/jail

Petroglyph art

I based my own art project on the same piece Carlos Hiller did!

Strange art inspired by the petroglyphs!
Today we drove into Liberia to go to the art museum, where they are doing a show on petroglyphs. On our way we drove Ray and Marilyn to the airport because they are leaving today. :( The petroglyph show at the museum is art work inspired by rock carvings. Local artists used the designs from ancient petrogyphs and created their own art. In school we are studying them! It was pretty interesting and we saw some great art, including a piece by Carlos Hiller. Also, the art museum is in the old penitentiary. Right in the middle there were jail cells! Don't worry they're from a long time ago and don't still have prisoners in them! I went in it and it was pitch black everywhere! We left the museum and started looking for somewhere to eat lunch. There was a store we saw on the way and I got a pretty shirt. For lunch we went to a little cafe, Cafe Liberia, and they had the best berry drink ever! After going to all those places we came home and did school! The rest of the day we just hung out at our place.
